The Integra family legacy began back in 1974 with our founder, Don Long. Today, sons Dwight and Doug proudly continue the family tradition. Together, they have assembled the industry’s top talent: a dynamic team dedicated to the best in customer care and quality assurance. Our team is not only our most valuable resource, but the reason for our continued success.
Don is our visionary, the one who started it all nearly four decades ago. Setting up shop in rented space behind an old wallpaper store, Don was determined to take his 15+ years of industry experience to build the area’s premier hose company. Under his guidance, Integra Companies has grown and prospered, and is now a recognized leader of high-purity solutions for a diverse group of industries. From the beginning, Don instilled the values of superior customer service and product quality. His convictions still ring true throughout our company today.
With a talent for sales and new product innovation, Dwight joined the Integra team over twenty years ago. Dwight was instrumental in moving the company from an industrial market focus to high-purity environments. An admitted “idea guy,” he is quick to spot new industry trends that lead to innovative product solutions. His background in biotech and biotech manufacturing has helped Integra penetrate new markets while leading to steady growth. Dwight is an active member of International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE), the world’s largest not-for-profit society serving pharmaceutical science and manufacturing professionals.
Doug was appointed company Vice President after holding various sales and customer service positions within Integra. With over 20 years of expertise in the biopharm and business management fields, Doug has the perfect balance of industry insight and management efficiency to lead our day-to-day operations and production initiatives. Doug was also a driving force in our company’s rapid expansion and subsequent move to our current headquarter location in Devens, MA. Also a proud member of the Boston chapter of the ISPE, Doug is a graduate of Thomas College.
