Armor
Casing - the most popular and durable
of all the cover options. Anti-kink Armor Casing features
all stainless steel construction, will NOT restrict
flexibility - but will lock up therefore not allowing
the hose to exceed minimum bend radius. Armor Casing
is so durable that, if installed, several hose styles
will be factory warranted for up to one year. (Consult
Inside Sales for details). Armor Casing, guards against
kinking, protects the hose braiding from abrasion,
protects operators hands from abrasion due to its smooth
outer surface, and in the event of a high pressure
catastrophic hose failure, contains all "shrapnel" thereby
limiting the potential for injury AND prevents the
hose from whipping. Can be used for end cuffs too!
Prevents the hose from kinking at the end fitting. |

Silicone
Firesleeve - The ultimate in high temperature
protection! A fiberglass sleeve with silicone rubber
cover for flame and heat resistance. Not only protects
against external hazards, but will insulate hot media
from operators touch, reducing the chance of injury.
Firesleeve and Armor Casing together make an unbeatable
combination! |

PVC
Cover - again, this cover is good for applications
where the braid must be covered. This option is less
expensive than the silicone alternative. It does not
have the temperature resistance, but has superior abrasion
resistance to silicone. (Shown)
Silicone
Cover - perfect for covering stainless steel
braid where a smooth OD and cleanliness are necessities.
Features all of the benefits and properties of silicone:
flexible, smooth, temperature and chemical resistant. |

Heat
Shrink - Another smooth alternative to the stainless
braid exterior of Fluoropolymer lined hose styles.
Heat shrink in Fluoropolymer or Polyolefin material
offer an inexpensive solution. Excellent for color
coding too! (Shown)
Chafe Sleeve
- this is an additional Kynar® or polypropylene
braid that allows no additional pressure retention,
but does offer a good abrasion resistant barrier
between the hose and rough surfaces. |

Rubber
Cover - Integra Companies can add a rubber cover
to just about any hose style for additional chafe,
abrasion, or chemical resistance. Several compounds
available (CPE, EPDM and Hypalon) |
