What size nut does the Accu-Tite™ fit?

Integra's Accu-Tite™ sanitary clamp torque tools fit most standard wing nuts and are accurate to +/-4%.

What torque should I use?

There are no specific industry requiremnts for the proper torque setting of a hygienic clamp (Tri-clamp®) fitting, nor can there be. The correct torque setting is directly related to the propertiesof the seal material. Generally speaking, softer materials like elastomers (EPDM, Silicone) require less torque than more rigid materials (PTFE, PTFE/SS blends). Common practice in the industry uses torque ranges from 25-30 in pounds for elastomers and 50+ inch pounds for the PTFE and PTFE blend materials. Click here to learn more about torque requirements.

How long does the Accu-Tite™ torque tool last before it needs to be recalibrated?
